Opening with an updated version of their 2018 neuro stepper Enclosed, Travesty instantly demonstrates their ability to straddle the boundary between the musical past, present, and future. Travesty substitutes a distorted reese bass from the original track with a more resonant bass reminiscent of Optical’s output from the late ‘90s and early ‘00s whilst still preserving the bassline’s melodic progression and skippy drum pattern of the original track, injecting a fresh boost of energy into an already monstrous tune.
